a 3 night run. Great soundboard quality here. What's with the crazy Flange/Chorus on Phil's bass on "stranger"? I'm sure it was a mistaken FX return on the board or something, 'cause I sure didn't hear it live. It's such a non-Dead sound, kinda cool. Our ride left without us that night (nice!) and we were trudging through Inglewood after the show---NOT the place to be after a dead show, and still pretty amped from that night's substances. We stumbled right into a bus, which took us straight within a block from my pad in Hollywood. Had a great rest of the night, the show still ringing in my ears. I still think '89 was a smokin' year, and this was a great kickoff.
